The handball players from Montenegro have minimized Germany’s chances of reaching the semi-finals at the European Championships. The team of national coach Bojana Popovic is after the 35:34 (18:18) against Romania on Tuesday with 6:2 points early in the round of the last four. The German team (2:4 points) now has to win the two remaining games and hope for support.
Due to the direct comparison won, the Montenegrins stay ahead of the selection of the German Handball Federation (DHB). Germany needs a win against France (6-0 points) for the semifinals in the evening (8:30 p.m.) and a win over Romania in the final main round game on Wednesday (3:30 p.m./Sportdeutschland.tv). To do that, the French have to lose against Spain.
