Biography of Dennis Rodman in Trouble. Jonathan Majors to Blame

Jonathan Majors is reaping the consequences of a recent verdict by a New York court that found him guilty of domestic violence. The actor has just lost his role in the movie “48 Hours in Vegas.”

Will Dennis Rodman Be the Hero of the Movie?

But that’s not the end of the bad news for the creators of “48 Hours in Vegas.” Lionsgate, which was supposed to produce the film, has withdrawn from it. Therefore, the movie might not be made at all unless the creators can find a new home for it.

The script of “48 Hours in Vegas,” written by Jordan VanDina, is reminiscent of events that took place in 1998. During the season, Chicago Bulls coach Phil Jackson gave Rodman permission for a short vacation. When the player did not return on time, the manager and Michael Jordan had to retrieve him themselves. The story remained a legend for years but was brought back into the spotlight by the documentary “The Last Dance,” in which the events were described by the participants themselves.

The upcoming film will focus on the relationship that Rodman developed with his assistant during the titular two days. An unusual friendship unexpectedly paves the way for solving many problems.

Jonathan Majors. What Are the Consequences of the Conviction?

In December, Jonathan Majors was convicted of assaulting his former partner Grace Jabbari. In the criminal trial, the prosecution charged him with four counts. The jury found him guilty of two.

Majors is currently awaiting a court decision on sentencing. He will learn it in early February.

After being officially indicted, the actor began losing work offers. The conviction only accelerated this. Therefore, “48 Hours in Vegas” is not the only project he has been thrown out of. Shortly after the verdict, Marvel officially announced that Majors would not return to the MCU as Kang.

Disney’s Searchlight studio also has in its archives the film “Magazine Dreams,” which premiered at last year’s Sundance Festival. The Hollywood Reporter reports that the studio does not plan to distribute the film. Therefore, it might not be seen by the general public.

Thus, Majors’ last screen role remains as Kang in the second season of the series “Loki.”
