Max is looking for the screenwriters of the “Harry Potter” series. We know the candidates

In April of last year, there was news about a TV adaptation of “Harry Potter.” Read: “Harry Potter” to return as a series? Warner wants to adapt J.K. Rowling’s saga anew. According to Deadline, the search for screenwriters is currently ongoing.

Who will write the screenplay for the “Harry Potter” series? We know the candidates.

Sources cited by Deadline report that among the screenwriters vying for a role in the adventures of Harry Potter, there are Martha Hillier (“Fall of a Kingdom”), Kathleen Jordan (“Teenage Bounty Hunters”), Tom Moran (“The Devil’s Hour”), and Michael Lesslie (“Little Drummer Girl,” “The Hunger Games: Ballad of the Birds and Snakes”).

The project is being developed for the Max streaming platform. So far, the producers have reportedly tasked each candidate with creating a draft of the series reflecting their approach to the intellectual property. It is known that J.K. Rowling, the author of the literary original, will be involved as an executive producer. Her opinion will undoubtedly be taken into account in the decision-making process.
