“The Heroes” will return. The continuation is coming. We know the title

This week Americans witnessed a solar eclipse. So it’s no wonder that the creator of the series “Heroes,” Tim Kring, used this event to announce plans for a new continuation. Its title is “Heroes: Eclipsed.”

“Heroes: Eclipsed” – what do we know about the series?

The first season of the series “Heroes” debuted in 2006 and became a huge television hit. The phrase “Save the cheerleader, save the world” became an internet sensation.

“Heroes” told the story of a group of people whose extraordinary powers awakened within them. At first glance, they have nothing in common. They live in different places. Now they must learn to live with abilities that were previously reserved only for comic book superheroes. Over time, they will uncover dark secrets…

Subsequent seasons of the series did not repeat the success, and ultimately NBC decided to cancel it in 2010.

In 2015, “Heroes” received a continuation in the form of a 13-episode “Heroes: Reborn,” which presented fans with a new group of heroes endowed with extraordinary powers.

“Heroes: Eclipsed” will follow in the footsteps of that continuation. The action of the series is to take place years after the events known from “Heroes.” The protagonists will be a completely new group of people with powers. However, a familiar villain may appear. Unlike “Heroes: Reborn,” however, the new project is conceived as a regular series, not a limited series.
