“You won’t replace Henry.” Liam Hemsworth “warmly” welcomed by “The Witcher” fans

Liam Hemsworth has just felt a taste of what awaits him when the fourth season of “The Witcher” series appears on Netflix. Let’s remind that the actor replaced Henry Cavill in the main role.

Liam Hemsworth recently posted on Instagram, thanking all those who watched the movie “Enemy Territory.” Unfortunately, along with a photo from the movie itself, in which he appeared with his brother Luke Hemsworth and Russell Crowe, he also uploaded a picture from the gym.

And fans interpreted this unequivocally as his efforts to gain muscle mass before starting work on the set of “The Witcher” series. And it began.

There was a lot of venom in the comments. Cavill’s fans loudly expressed their dissatisfaction that he would not return as Geralt of Rivia. Among the milder comments are: “We don’t care. We want Henry,” “You won’t replace Henry as the Witcher,” and “That’s not my Geralt.”

Let’s remind that Henry Cavill is a big fan of the “Witcher” game series. So when he received the role of Geralt in the Netflix series, he didn’t hide his excitement. However, “The Witcher” was received with mixed feelings by fans. Although most were delighted with Cavill as Geralt, the creators’ plot decisions were often met with dissatisfaction.

After three seasons, it was unexpectedly announced that Cavill was leaving the series. However, the creators did not give up the show itself and hired Liam Hemsworth to replace him.

Officially, we never learned the reasons for this surprising change. However, there were speculations online that Cavill was unhappy with the direction the creators of “The Witcher” took.

Currently, the process of casting roles for the fourth season is ongoing. Recently, Sharlto Copley was cast as Leo Bonhart, James Purefoy as Stefan Skellen, and Danny Woodburn as Zoltan Chivay.
